Cantonese Milk Pudding 炖奶


After my trip to Hong Kong, I felt in love with milk pudding.  This dessert only requires 3 ingredients and can be done within 15 minutes.






Ingredients ( 2 small bowls)
1.  200ml fresh milk
2.  1 egg white
3.  1 tbsp sugar


Method
1.  Mix egg white and sugar in a bowl.  Do not create too much foam.
2.  Add milk and stir well.
3.  Use a strainer as you pour the mixture into the small bowls for steaming. 
4.  Steam for 8 minutes in low heat.  Turn off the heat and let the pudding set in the steaming pot for another 2 minutes.



5.  Can either eat it hot or cold.
